Collage is one of those mediums that makes art accessible to anyone. Grab a stack of newspapers and magazines, cut, reassemble. Mix your media, do it by hand or by computer. Collage just gives you permission to play and have fun in a freestyle fashion without worrying about making a perfect composition. I really believe this can be the gateway to art for those who feel they don't have talent!
On the other hand, there are some collage artists out there that just seem to have a knack for mixing the unexpected and creating perfection. Shira Shechter one of these artists.
